Digital Microforce Breakout Cable
This handy breakout box replaces a traditional Y-cable for a much more modular solution. Y cables limit you to one choice of power input, one set cable length (always too long), and usually only a straight motor connector. While this setup works, it makes for a very awkward and bulky cable and reduces your options on set.
Instead, use a Microforce Breakout Cable! Supply power via any 2-pin power cable (the same you'd use for a SmallHD monitor or a Teradek), and run your motor via any cable you want. This means it works with the same cables as a Preston MDR would, meaning less bulk and duplicated cables to carry around.

By default, the two connectors face opposite directions for a more streamlined setup when using right angle connectors. If you need the ports to face the same direction, or any other customizations, please let me know below.
Note that this cable will only work with a DigitalMicroforce, not an Analog (V+F) Microforce. Final appearance may change. These cables carry a lead time of about two weeks, as they are custom made to order.
