When you need a remote zoom controller, most people reach for a Preston Radio Microforce. It’s a very handy tool, but Preston didn’t include any way to mount the device to anything. Thus, this expensive piece of equipment often ends up lying on a table, or jammed into a RoboCup.
Secure your Radio Microforce any way you like, using the RMF Mounting Bar! This simple cheeseplate attaches to the back of the RMF unit via two screws, and provides the user with two 3/8”-16 and three 1/4”-20 mounting points, all with ARRI-compatible anti-twist patterns. Attach a Wedgie2 or CineLock for easy quick-release, if you want to pick up the controller and go, or a baby pin starter to mount it to a gobo head. However you use the Radio Microforce, it’ll be a lot easier when you have a way to mount it anywhere you want!
Machined from aluminum and anodized black. The RMF Mounting Bar mounts to the RMF unit using two of the original screws from the RMF, thus does not ship with any screws.
RMF Mounting Bar is not compatible with RMF units that have external antenna switches, but if you own one of these units please reach out and I can make something custom for you.
